3 oners that define the film
The opening Shot of the film is this oner that introduces our lead and the environment that they live in. It was a tough shot as I did and iris pull from T16 to T2.8 as we enter the auto shop, that combined with some fancy footwork from our stedicam operator we had our work cut out for us. The iris pull represents our leads feelings of isolation in an environment that they are unwelcome in.
This second shot represents the literal shedding of an old skin. This shot and the montage previous was a really fun sequence to bring to life and has such an amazing energy that really encapsulates the moment.
The final shot of our film we wanted to bookend it with another oner, but unlike the opening shot that is closing the world down around our character we wanted to open the world up. We also waned it to be a celebration of their love and the power of choice over their bodies.
